DISTRICT 6
Last numerically but first in our hearts. District 6 is the end of the line. The southern most frontier of our beloved city. Hot days and steamy, tropical nights are this district's hallmark. Also known as the Gateway to Menands and the Hudson Riviera. This District includes South Troy as well as the all-important Emerald Greens neighborhood. There's a lot of registered voters up there and they turn out. Sometimes twice.
Geography: A wonderful blend of industrial and suburban, next to 5, the most diverse district.

Likely a Democratic stronghold ever since current Councilman Galuski unseated incumbent Carolin Collier. Corey Jenkins of Team Troy has gracefully bowed out of the campaign, fully understanding that he could be a spoiler. A random act of political maturity.
Hot Button Issue: Does the Menands Bridge go from Menands to Troy or from Troy to Menands
Contestants:
WAYNE D'ARCY - D
D'Arcy is a retired Probation Supervisor and a newcomer to Troy politics. That's about all we know. Based on his past profession he probably knows a lot of families in District 6. Based on his past profession, the people he knows probably won't vote for him.
JOHN DONOHUE - R
Donohue is another newcomer to the Troy Political scene. He works at Hudson Valley Community College and for the Department of Naval and Military Affairs. That's about it. Oh. As far as we know, never killed anyone.
Did You Know: There is an election in District 6.

Nice to see Manny's name somewhere other than the police blotter!
Can't get a sense of 1 and 6 so I say tossup.
Darcy is a solid guy. I have not met Donohue. People say he's solid as well. We could make out this time.
Anything is better than Jabba the Hut. Thank God for term limits.
If anyone is Jabba, it's Crawley.
Gary wasn't to bad. Never tried or convicted. So, he's got that going for him.
Crawley is about to get a Dunne enema.
Danny Is more like Pizza the Hut, Dude
D'Arcy has this. Jenkins, right after the primary, said he was out and didn't want to be a spoiler. I guess we know what kind of man he is. I wonder if any of them will speak with Rodney after they lose and ask him what the F he was thinking. What does Rodney have that engenders such blind loyalty? It's almost cultish.
Rodney controls the WFP endorsement with his unindicted co-conspirator Jim Welch. He promised his sycophants that and the Dem line. He also has formed an unholy alliegence with Bodner by giving him the WFP line.
You get the feeling that Team Troy is having a blast. It's all fun and they get some attention. They're socializing, meeting people have a ball. Except, this is serious business and Wiltshire will give us Gordon. Jenkins should be ashamed of himself, going back on his word like that.
Rod doesn't care if he burns down the house. Too bad I expected more from him.
Look at the bright side of losing city hall ----Rabbit will once again be visiting his test failing girlfriend back up at the Water Plant.
Who? 35K?
35k is what Guluski illegally received in unemployment benefits --- forgot to mention when he applied that he was on the council. Oooops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
