EMERGENCY CONDITIONS

The news drought continues. While there is news, nothing that really catches they eye. There was some irony over the weekend when Adam Rupeka was arrested. According to Talk 1300:

Adam Rupeka, who is known for antagonizing police officers, and a woman from Hudson were arrested this morning for “subjecting a minor female to unwanted sexual contact.”

Rupkea, 36, and 26-year-old Jennifer Ogburn, of 278 Allen St. in Hudson, were arrested at Rupkea’s 37 125th St. home on three misdemeanors related to having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl.

Last year Rupeka received a $50,000 settlement in a suit against the City of Saratoga when he was pepper-sprayed by a police officer after giving the officer the middle finger.

While in custody, Rupeka should be filmed 24/7. There is no telling what allegations this guy will allege against the police and CO's.

Monday AM. Tried to call city hall a few times this morning and the phones seemed to be out of order or way too busy. When I was put on hold by some velvet toned recorded guy, I was then subjected to the most God awful music which sounded like a 70's game show theme..loud and brassy. I expected to hear someone say..Come On Down! Let's Make a Deal!

Just don't call the mayor's office between 8:30 & 9. Two women answering phones that go to voicemail

Caller ID? I get through every time. They do have work to do.

SORRY Someone needs to answer the damn phones. Taxpayers deserve to have a real person at the other end.

Taxpayers deserve lower taxes, not expensive employees glued to the phones 24/7 to answer your dumbass questions. Get a job. Or at least a hobby.

5:41 - post your questions and comments here. Maybe we can help you out. I bet you are trying to bog down the city government or make some obscure point. They should probably implement quiet time between 9:30 am and 11:30 am.

They have so much on their plate right now

11:04 You are an asshole. 11:59, You have got to be kidding me. They wanted to get elected to serve the city. They report to the voters and taxpayers. Let them figure out how to serve. Don't assume that someone who is calling them is calling for a invalid reason. What next? An unlisted phone number? Too bad they have so much on their plate, they asked to get this job, let em DO it for Christ's sake. The voters will remember this.

City workers aren't elected, dipshit.

Can't answer the city phone from the break room princess

This shitbird probably calls every morning to ask for the weather forecast.

1:37 I am sure that there are plenty of legitimate callers, and many have valid issues. There are also many others who are inundating City Hall with nonsense. They are understaffed. We all know that, so what is it that you need. Is it all about you or your political issues?

"They are understaffed. We all know that" What? I don't know that. If they are understaffed why are they constantly outside smoking? The answer is send some firemen down there. If they have time to blog all day they can at least answer the phones at city hall.

9:22 Get a life and stop hassling City Hall workers. You must be getting bored with Judge Judy reruns. Go buy a Chubby's sub.

Anonymous said...

6:49 LOL, Heaven forbid that someone asks a city hall employee to do their job. That would be totally unthinkable wouldn't it? As for the Chubby's Sub idea, I hear it is going to be changing it's name in honor of the new owner....FATASS Subs.

^:49 Do you have job?

The NYS Senate wants to make it easier for judges to find people who fail to pay child support. The law would eliminate other enforcement attempts before a contempt finding is made. What do you think about that? lets do a story on that.

But bought with his own money, plus, it no longer looks like a shit hole. Called reinvesting in the community. You should try it. Anything else?
