Hahaha Rocco HATES Rodney. He's telling anyone and everyone walking by DeFazio's that Rodney's gotta go. I bet Rodney gets 3 votes in South Troy. Bad move pissing off Rocco, Rodman. You do have a knack for making the wrong enemies, don't you?
Does anyone care about an endorsement? The only possible impact they MIGHT have on me is resenting anyone endorsed by a man who would vote for the ludicrous deal with Islamic lunatics. Is Chuck Schumer the only nationally-oriented Democrat in our state with a brain?
I think they help push the base a bit. Otherwise they are just another excuse for a press conference or press release. The only time they have an impact is if something unexpected happened. If McNulty, Breslin, Gillibrand and the rest endorsed Rodney.
Well, they didn't endorse Rodney. Every voter I talked to today as I went door to door for Patrick was impressed by the endorsements. I talked to about 40 people. They like to hear familiar names of people they respect. Any single endorsement might not be that great, but when you read them off one after another undecided voters take notice. They are undecided because they wait to see which way the wind will blow....The TU, all the big Dem politicians....that sealed the deal for many on the fencers.
the DiNapoli endorsement of Madden is significant. The state comptroller is acquainted with Troy's financial plight. His support of Madden speaks volumes.
Great, when it comes time to balance the budget and negotiate with unions Rodney has to pay them back for their support. We are already in financial trouble, the unions aren't going to help.
How about Jimino?
ReplyDeleteNews flash, she endorsed Madden today on her FB page
DeleteNo shit, Einstein. That's why I posted the question.

ReplyDeleteI'm endorsing Jim Gordon. A fine law abiding citizen.
ReplyDeleteWho cares? We want more funny quips about Gordon!
ReplyDeleteFeed the hungry masses!
Even I can't endorse Jim Gordon. Sorry Sparky.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't kill for Rocco's endorsement?
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for Pedro.

Rocco's endorsement matters.
ReplyDeleteRodney has endorsed the Red Front. Although they hate him too.
ReplyDeleteYou missed the following endorsements for Rodney Wiltshire:
ReplyDeleteEmpire State Pride Agenda
League of Conservation Voters
1199 SEIU
CWA
Troy Area Labor Council
Zephyr Teachout
With the building trade unions that have endorsed Rodney is endorsed by 18 unions and is the only candidate endorsed by any union.

DeleteSo, Dustin, you're basically saying...
ReplyDelete"Rodney Wiltshire - Bought and Paid For."
Sounds expensive for Troy's taxpayers.
I'll vote for a candidate NOT endorsed by the unions. Maybe we can finally balance the budget.
